As part of our #MakeSomeoneSmileThisWinter campaign, our yearly blanket donation drives aims to bring comfort and hope when it’s needed the most. Winter is a special and satisfying season for Team Red as we focus on helping those in need during the harsh cold. Warmth is as essential as air, water, and shelter, but many families in Kashmir struggle to afford basic winter necessities like blankets.
We identify these families and provide them with warm blankets, receiving heartfelt blessings in return. We also support government hospitals by delivering blankets to patients and attendants who come unprepared in emergencies.
Yearly Ration Distribution
Every year on the holy occasion of Ramadan, Team Red identifies underprivileged and needy households that face hardships due to poverty in this holy month. We do a quick and effective survey to prepare a list of such families and provide them with a “Ramadan Ration Kit.” These kits contain essential items to help them sustain themselves for several days, ensuring they can observe the month with ease and dignity.
Relief Work
We take pride in the fact that Team Red has not only made a significant impact locally but has also earned recognition at the national level. Whether it was the Relief Operations during the Kerala Floods in August 2018, themed “From Heaven on Earth to God’s Own Country,” or the challenges posed by “The Shaking COVID-19 Pandemic,” Team Red has worked tirelessly, leaving no stone unturned to help those in need. From aiding individuals whose homes were destroyed by disasters to providing relief to fire victims, Team Red operates like a well-oiled machine, always ready to extend a helping hand during times of crisis.
